Rock and Gravel Paths: Any ornamental stone areas within or adjacent to the beds are treated with our pre-emergent treatment to prevent weeds from popping up between the rocks.

Apply Thick Mulch: Spread a 2–3 inch layer of organic mulch (like wood chips or pine needles) to block sunlight from reaching weed seeds, which is essential for effective weed control in your flower bed maintenance.  

Water Plants Directly: Use a soaker hose or drip irrigation to water only your flowers. By avoiding overhead sprinklers, you prevent accidentally 'watering the weeds' in open soil, thus enhancing your weed control efforts.
